Holscot is a leading European manufacturer of fluoropolymer films. We’ll guide you from product selection to tailored delivery options.
At Holscot, we know that no two projects are the same. That’s why we offer a full range of in-house conversion and fabrication services to customise our fluoropolymer films for your exact application.
Whether you need small-scale prototypes, specialist components, or high-volume rolls, our flexible production capabilities and expert team ensure we can deliver a solution that fits.
To support more complex or technical requirements, we also offer specialised processing services—including cutting, etching, perforation, welding, and colour matching—enabling truly tailored results.
Surface Treatment for Bonding
We provide chemical etching of FEP, PFA, and ETFE films to allow secure bonding to other surfaces such as metals or plastics. This work is carried out in-house by our experienced etching specialists, ensuring reliable adhesion for composite structures and lining applications.
Precision Slitting & Cutting
We offer slitting and cutting services to deliver film in the exact width or length you require. Ideal for roll-to-roll production, cleanroom workflows, and automated processes.
Welding & Joining Services
Holscot can weld fluoropolymer film and sheet to create bags, envelopes, liners, and custom 3D structures. All welding is carried out by trained technicians using dedicated fluoropolymer joining techniques.
Punched, Die-cut, Laser-cut
From small quantities through to hundreds of thousands, we have the capability to produce the custom parts you need.
Custom Wall Thicknesses Available
Thanks to our flexible, small-scale manufacturing capabilities, we can offer non-standard thicknesses to meet your specific project or design requirements.
Pigmented Films for Specialist Use
We can produce coloured fluoropolymer films in grey, silver, red, white, yellow, black, or other Pantone or RAL references (subject to MOQ). These are ideal for applications such as release films, colour coding, or enhancing visual aesthetics.
Holscot manufactures high-performance continuous process belts using FEP and PFA fluoropolymers, chosen for their outstanding non-stick, chemical resistance, and thermal stability.
Our belts are ideal for industrial production environments where surface integrity, durability, and chemical inertness are critical.
Each belt is produced usingHolscot’s proprietary fluoropolymer welding technology, delivering:
Smooth, seamless joints that avoid marking or damaging the product surface
Consistent performance across continuous production lines
Bespoke sizes and configurations to suit your equipment
We manufacture belts in both:
Plain FEP and PFA
Glass-backed FEP and PFA for added dimensional stability and strength
Holscot fluoropolymer belts have been successfully deployed in a wide range of manufacturing sectors, including:
Wood laminate flooring production
Manufacture and handling of superabsorbent polymers (e.g. sodium polyacrylate)
Chemical processing and drying lines
Pharmaceutical and hygienic applications
These belts provide long service life, minimal maintenance, and reliable non-stick performance—especially in processes involving aggressive chemicals, adhesives, or heat.
Read this case study to learn how Holscot belts helped solve challenges in real-world production environments.

Holscot stocks PTFE adhesive tape, widely used across industries for its low-friction, non-stick properties. It is particularly popular for quick, temporary repairs and surface protection in the aerospace sector.
Easy to apply
Withstands heat and chemicals
We offer a limited stock of FEP film with a self-adhesive backing, ideal for lining metal parts or creating non-stick surfaces in demanding environments.
Chemically resistant
Non-stick surface
High temperature tolerance
Designed for added mechanical strength, this PTFE tape reinforced with glass-fibre cloth offers superior durability and tear resistance.
Stronger than standard PTFE film

All of the above are supplied on rolls, lead-time 2-4 weeks. Contact us for more information.
Holscot offers a unique range of glass-backed fluoropolymer sheets, combining the outstanding chemical resistance and non-stick properties of FEP or PFA with the structural benefits of a knitted glass cloth backing.
This advanced material is manufactured as a single, homogeneous composite—not layered or glued—ensuring durability and performance in the most demanding environments.
Exceptional Chemical Resistance
Inert to virtually all chemicals, solvents, acids, and alkalis—making it ideal for harsh process environments.
Bondable Surface
The glass cloth backing allows secure bonding to metals, plastics, and GRP using epoxy, polyester, or other industrial-grade adhesives—no fillers or binders required.
Stress-Crack Resistant & Thermoformable
FEP and PFA’s stress-crack resistance, combined with the multi-directional structure of the glass cloth, make the sheets ideal for thermoforming, including dished ends, flanges, and more complex geometries.
Ultimate Non-Stick Surface
The fluoropolymer layer delivers a smooth, low-friction surface that resists fouling, scaling, or contamination—ideal for lining, sealing, and flow-critical applications.

Thermoformed Components, Dished Ends, and Flanges
Holscot was the first company to complete a column lined with glass-backed FEP reinforced by GRP, setting a benchmark in composite fluoropolymer linings.
Sheet Widths: ~1150mm to 1220mm
Standard Thickness: 2.3mm polymer + glass cloth backing
Other Thicknesses: Available on request, up to 3mm total thickness
Custom Fabrication: Dished ends, flanged forms, and bespoke cut shapes available
With decades of experience in fluoropolymer thermoforming and lining, Holscot can advise you on:
Material selection (FEP vs PFA)
Bonding and lamination techniques
Thermoforming and installation methods
Bespoke fabrications to suit your equipment
In the carbon fibre lamination process, a thin-gauge release film is essential to prevent the vacuum bagging materials from bonding to the uncured laminate surface. The chosen film must not only be non-stick but also capable of withstanding the high temperatures involved in the curing cycle.
FEP film meets these requirements perfectly.
High Thermal Resistance – Withstands elevated curing temperatures without deformation or breakdown
Non-Adherent Surface – Prevents adhesion to resins or prepreg materials
Ultra-Thin Gauges Available – Standard thicknesses include 25 micron and 50 micron, ideal for precision lay-up work
Pigmented FEP for Visibility – Colour-tinted film available where visual identification is important during placement or inspection
Perforated FEP Film – Options available to allow controlled resin flow or venting during the vacuum process
Holscot supplies FEP film for leading composite manufacturers across aerospace, motorsport, marine, and industrial sectors.
