Precision Cut Film & Sheet

FEP, PFA and ETFE film cut to your specification

Discuss your requirements with an expert today

Holscot supplies precision cut fluoropolymer film and sheet in FEP, PFA and ETFE, supporting customers who need reliable material, accurate conversion and practical technical advice.

Whether you need a simple cut sheet, repeat production components, small development samples or a more specialist film format, we can help you select the right material and supply it in a form that is easier to use in your process.

We support both industrial grade and premium grade fluoropolymer films, with thicknesses typically available from 10 micron through to 2.3 mm+, depending on material, grade, format and application.  Availability depends on material type, grade, width, quantity and whether the film is required as roll stock, cut sheet, slit material or converted components.  For standard and repeat requirements, we can review stock options, production routes and future call-off demand.

If you already have a drawing, sample, incumbent supplier or standard component, send it to us for review. We are happy to cross quote where suitable and advise where Holscot may be able to improve supply, service, consistency or overall value.

Fluoropolymer Film Materials Available

FEP Film

FEP film is a practical choice where customers need a combination of:
  • Chemical resistance
  • Non-stick / release performance
  • Good optical clarity
  • Electrical insulation
  • Flexibility
  • Heat resistance for many industrial processes

FEP is widely used for release films, protective layers, gaskets, seals, electrical insulation, lighting protection, chemical barriers and precision cut components.
It is often selected where a clean, low-friction, chemically resistant surface is required, but where PFA’s higher temperature capability is not essential.

PFA Film

PFA film offers many of the benefits of FEP, with improved performance in higher temperature and more demanding environments.
It is often considered for applications involving:
  • Higher service temperatures
  • More demanding chemical exposure
  • Semiconductor and high-purity environments
  • Medical, pharmaceutical or bio-tech development
  • Smooth, clean, high-performance film components

Where the application requires higher temperature resistance, increased stress-crack resistance or high-purity material options, PFA may be the better choice.

ETFE Film

ETFE film is valued for its toughness, strength and weathering resistance.
It can be a strong option where customers need:
  • Excellent mechanical toughness
  • Tear and impact resistance
  • UV stability
  • Chemical resistance
  • Lightweight protective film or sheet
  • Durable cut components

ETFE is often considered for demanding industrial, aerospace, lighting, architectural, chemical and protective applications.

Industrial and Premium Grade Film Options

Not every project needs the same grade of material.
Holscot can support both industrial grade and premium grade fluoropolymer films, depending on the application.

Industrial Grade

A suitable option for many general engineering, chemical, release, lining, separation, insulation and protective applications where performance and value need to be balanced.

Premium Grade

A better fit where appearance, clarity, purity, surface finish or tighter process control is more important.

Precision Cutting and Conversion Services

Holscot can convert fluoropolymer film and sheet into formats that are ready for your application.
Our services include:
  • Precision cut sheets
  • Cut-to-size rectangles
  • Discs and circular parts
  • Strips and narrow widths
  • Punched parts
  • Die-cut components
  • Prototype quantities
  • Repeat production batches
  • Development samples
  • Welded or fabricated film parts, where suitable

This is useful where customers want to reduce internal handling, avoid waste, improve repeatability or source finished film parts rather than raw material only.

Chemically Etched Film for Bonding

FEP, PFA and ETFE are naturally low surface energy materials, which is one reason they are so useful for non-stick and release applications. However, that same property can make bonding difficult.
Where bonding is required, Holscot can offer chemically etched fluoropolymer film to improve adhesion to other materials.
Etched film may be considered for:
  • Bonding to metals, plastics & composite structures.
  • Lining applications
  • Laminated assemblies
  • Seals and technical components
  • Parts requiring one etched side and one fluoropolymer contact surface

Options may include etching on one side or both sides, depending on the film type, thickness and end use.
As bonding performance depends on the adhesive system, substrate and operating environment, customers should always carry out their own application testing before moving to production.

Self-Adhesive Film Options

For some applications, Holscot can offer self-adhesive fluoropolymer film options, including selected FEP and PTFE-based adhesive-backed materials.
These can be useful for:
  • Non-stick surface protection
  • Low-friction contact areas
  • Lining of metal or plastic parts
  • Wear or release surfaces
  • Temporary or semi-permanent protective layers
  • Development trials before a more engineered bonded solution

Self-adhesive options are application dependent and may not be suitable for every chemical, temperature or mechanical environment. We can help review the intended use and advise whether a self-adhesive route is worth trialling or whether etched film and a separate bonding system would be more appropriate.

Typical Applications

Precision cut FEP, PFA and ETFE film can be used across a wide range of industries.
Common applications include:
  • Gaskets and seals
  • Release films
  • Chemical barriers
  • Tank and vessel lining components
  • Electrical insulation
  • Optical or lighting protection
  • UV transmission and protective films
  • Medical and bio-tech development parts
  • Semiconductor and clean process components
  • Aerospace and defence components
  • Battery and EV chemical protection
  • Hydrogen and pressure cylinder protection
  • Roll cover and lamination process aids
  • Prototype bladders, diaphragms, liners and welded forms

If your application is unusual, that is often where Holscot can add the most value. We work with customers who need more than a catalogue product and want a supplier willing to review the real requirement.

Send Us Your Concept, Drawing, Sample or Existing Part

If you currently buy FEP, PFA or ETFE film components elsewhere, or if you are developing a new requirement, Holscot would be pleased to review it.

We can then advise whether we can offer a suitable Holscot route, whether from stock, production, conversion or a trusted supply partner.

For repeat components, we can also review options for scheduled supply, call-off orders and volume-based production planning.
