Fluoroplastic Extrusions

The most extensive range of FEP, PFA and ETFE extrusions in Europe, encompassing diameters from 3mm to over 400mm. Inert - resistant to virtually all known chemicals and solvents, the possible uses for these versatile materials are seemingly endless.

ETFE Tubing

etfe-tubing2ETFE has unique properties which can be of particular benefit to certain Industries. Still very much part of the fluoroplastic family, it is called upon for very specific uses such as tubing for breathing apparatus or umbilicals for Offshore applications and, therefore, Holscot makes ETFE tubing to order.

In the majority of cases, our customers look at ETFE when ultimate flexibility is required over and above the traditional Fluoroplastic Tubing such as FEP, PFA and PTFE. A tube made from ETFE can be flexed without kinking where a FEP or PFA tube of the same size would kink when bent.

Holscot ETFE tubing offers;

  • Temperature resistance up to + 1500C
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Unsurpassed non stick capabilities
  • Flexibility
  • Resistant to high energy radiation
  • Exceptional UV transmission
  • Highly flexible – will not kink when bent.

Full details of the properties of ETFE can be seen in the Glossary section.

Holscot can produce ETFE tubing;

  • To close tolerances
  • In continuous lengths or specified cut lengths
  • Any colour – pigmentation can be introduced to suit your needs.

Additionally, if you are looking for a way to incorporate the ETFE tubing into more complex items such as gas bags, tanks or linings, Holscot’s experience in welding, etching and forming ETFE can be used to provide the exact solution you need.

In Line Extrusion

In addition to producing free standing tubing, we can extrude ETFE directly onto substrates such a glass, rubber, aluminium or steel.
